Armenia's software advantage

To escape from poverty, the former Soviet republic of Armenia needs to focus on sectors in which it can best compete. One of the most promising, a McKinsey study suggests, is software and IT services, which benefit from the country's well-educated workforce, low wages, and foreign contacts.
